Initial 24‑HR SORA & CPR Certification

Service Description

CPS Training provides state‑mandated security officer training with in‑person CPR certification. Our programs meet New Jersey State Police (NJSP) requirements and prepare candidates for professional roles in the security industry. Training Programs Offered: • Initial 24‑hour SORA training for new applicants • AHA‑approved CPR, AED, and BLS certification Registration Requirements: Candidates must provide a valid government‑issued photo ID and a SORA Application Number before attending training. For New Jersey Law Enforcement Officers: While officers are exempt from SORA training, they must still register if working private security outside their department. A copy of their departmental photo ID is required for verification. Refund Policy: CPS Training is committed to quality instruction; however, refunds are not available once training is completed. Applicants are responsible for ensuring all information entered into the NJSP SORA portal is accurate. CPS Training is not liable for errors made during the NJSP application process, and refunds will not be issued if the NJSP declines a SORA license.
